Good News

There will be no spelling test next week(28th) to give you extra time to prepare for your Book Report.

Book Reports

Book reports need to be completed this week (18th -22nd May) as they will all be presented on the 28th May. This will allow you time to practice presenting your talk to your family and to prepare palm cards if you need them.

 This will be for assessment purposes and will go toward your end of semester report for speaking and listening.

 You are allowed to use palm cards but will not be permitted to read from the sheet as you did with the practice talk. 

You can bring in props / book if you wish. You may choose any book to do your book talk on but it must not be from the same author as last time and must be at a year 3 level.

Homework Weeks 5 and 6

Due: Thursday 28th May

1) Which parishes in the Archdiocese of Brisbane has a member of your family visited? Do you have any pictures taken at any of these churches? ( We would love to borrow them or put them on the blog if you could share them.

2) Take a virtual tour of St Stephan's Cathedral. What are 3 things that you would like to look at and why? ( See link in post below)

3) During the St Mary's history talk on Monday 18th May, what was something that you learnt that has stayed the same at St Mary's and one thing that has changed?
